What To expect
Half-way into Autumn, shifting from summer into winter. Take time to reflect on Summer’s bloom and Winter’s calm. The season of letting go, and planting into the ground!
During our Eco Business Retreat you will have the opportunity to release the stresses of daily life through our curated practices around the themes of self-development, mindfulness, experience learning, creative self-reflection and shapeshifting. This holistic and integrated experience combines co-working with personal and professional development, creativity and local integration into the Italian culture. Lets Evolve…
Why you should join
Our experience is one for self-exploration, connecting with nature and with what really matters. Spending time in breathtaking environments like the Ligurian coast is nourishment for the soul. It is an opportunity to develop personally and professionally in a family-like environment.
We invite you to join us at one of the most beautiful farmhouses of San Bartolomeo, located at the seaside of Liguria. The location is 20 mins from the Ligurian riviera, that is known for its mild climate in winter.
We will be immersed in nature and in proximity to a small village with all services. The housing structure is divided into different apartments with private workspaces.
We use the common space and kitchen to prepare meals and eat together, to co-work and for our workshops by the garden under the shade of citrus and mimosa trees. lets-evolve…

lets-evolve practice awareness of the signals our body sends us. We’ve unlearned to listen, but coming back to our body makes us more connected, more aware, helps us regulate stressful emotions and thus helps us with coming up with helpful ideas for our challenges.
We invite you to practise yoga together, join in for a walking or guided group meditation, mantra singing or journaling and intention setting session. You are also more than welcome to share your own practice with the group.
We share our business challenges and brainstorm together during mastermind circles. Lets Evolve By sharing our talents and needs we activate the potential of the group and foster collaboration.
Creative Community Offerings
We cook delicious Italian food together, lets evolve with our on-site chef to indulge in the culinary traditions of the region. We use seasonal, local and organic products and share our meals.
In preparation of the retreat we check in with our group to invite contribution and sharing. Lets Evolve… We aim to create a safe space for everyone to unfold to their fullest potential.
Nourish yourself with everything our organic farm has to offer. We organise walk & talk formats, hiking and exploring the coastline down to the ocean. We connect deeply with the beauty of the Ligurian riviera.
We share common passions like creativity, connection, nature and impact. We believe in the value of community. We believe in collaboration. To us, coliving and personal & professional development through experience learning are closely related. This is why the concepts of AGAIA and AWE Academy benefit each other and we decided to combine our experience and knowledge to share during this beautiful experience. Lets Evolve on a personal level, working together brings a taste of co-living in Italy, which is what we intend to do at some point.
Anja is experienced in community building and facilitation through running several coliving experiences. The Ligurian riviera is known for its mild and consistent climate. Temperatures in the region in October vary between 15 – 25 C with little rain. We recommend to pack a bit of everything 🙂 (incl. a sweater and a jacket for the evening hours)
A life in harmony with nature is priority to us. This is why we collaborate with local structures who align to our values of eco-conscious and sustainable living. This means for example consumption of local and seasonal products, reduction of waste, collaboration with local persons and businesses and support of local farmers. For our retreats we have developed a sustainability concept (soon available on our website) to ensure transparency, share knowledge and raise awareness for this important topic amongst participants. Living up to our values on short experiences like a 1-week retreat is challenging and we encourage you to help us improve our concept to become more sustainable.
The Eco Business Retreat is designed for open-minded professionals, who are curious to explore something new and connect with nature and community. We are combining co-working and co-created community sessions where we network and share knowledge and skills. The group may have different professional backgrounds and be diverse. However, we are ensuring good fit by aligning on our values and drive to contribute to community and make an impact.
We offer apartments for both, shared and single use. You can express your preference to share an apartment and we will try to match you with another suitable participant who is open to sharing, too.
You can get the full value out of the experience without any additional costs. Everything listed under “What’s included” is covered. There will be optional activities by external parties offered in addition, that you pay extra, if you chose to participate.
Absolutely not. Everything that is offered is an invitation. We are giving options and impulses to provide the best value possible, but you choose what serves you best. We also encourage every participant to co-create the experience with us and e.g. offer something they like to share with the group in the creative community offerings sessions or come together for individual 1:1 sessions. This way, the experience will naturally align to the groups talents and we can make use of our full potential.
Vegetarian and vegan food will be provided for everyone. As we are a small group we can consider special dietary restrictions and allergies. A chef will be on-site for the complete week to manage the meal plan and organise the kitchen. Breakfasts are self-organized, lunches will be prepared by our chef to give us more space for co-working, workshops and other activities during the day. For dinner, we will organize ourselves into small cooking teams and use the common kitchen to prepare meals together with our chef. We believe, one of the beautiful bonding experiences of coliving is preparing meals and eating together, a great chance to learn and try out new recipes and get creative together.
We ensured, that there is good WIFI available in the co-working area and the apartments. The co-working area can be used for individual work, collaboration and workshops. The apartments are equipped with a table / workspace for calls or focus time.
Before the experience we get the group together to connect virtually and clarify all open questions and help you to prepare for the experience. Please share anything you want to offer to the community in our workshops beforehand with us, so we can support you and coordinate. Don´t forget to bring a journal, a yoga mat, a re-usable water bottle, sunscreen and sneakers or hiking boots.
Yes. We offer incentives for sustainable travel (by train) and for referrals, for example, if you bring your friend or partner and share an apartment or promote the experience within your network. If you like to participate but do not have the budget, we are open to discuss collaborations. Please contact us for more details.
What others say
“One week is a good time, to get into a new habit of waking up early, doing some yoga in the morning, and then really starting the day with some work.
There was a lot of things we did: a mix of start-up, and also arts, which was interesting. it was a really good mix of things and it sparked my creativity somehow.”
“I wanted to explore other places than where I’m from. and meet people that are kind of from the same wavelength.
Sitting with the laptop and seeing a beautiful scenery.
People beside you that are super chill, always giving you a smile. and then, the best part is every time I walk into the kitchen, somebody that loves to cook is cooking up something great.”
“When we start doing things for one another, then the magic begins.
We started out as complete strangers, but by the end of the experience we were so close, because of the conversations we had, because of the experiences we shared.
I would definitely recommend a coliving experience, especially with AGAIA Coliving.”
“I appreciated having a variety of options to create your workday, waking up in the morning to the smell of a freshly brewed coffee and homemade bread.
If you feel socially active, then have breakfast with the others together. Or if you just need some time on your own, take your coffee, have a seat somewhere in the sun, and enjoy the landscape. everybody has their own tempo.”
“It’s a great opportunity to learn from each other, and to motivate each other.
When you see another person getting up in the morning, doing some yoga, then maybe it’s easier for you to do it as well!
It really is a unique experience that everybody in their life should try, at least once.”
